Damn, there seems to be half a quarter inch of sediment on the bottom of the bottle. Poured out a liquid that pretty much equals the bottom of a jug of pineapple juice that has settled with some decent white fuzz which acts similar to fine pulp that has settled at the top of a glass of orange juice. The whole glass has a film where ever there was once beer. Very fresh and sour oranges (in a good way, not the out in the sun quartered orange on a plate way) and some wheat. The taste is something else compared to other west coast hefes. Ha! Now I know the flavour! MIMOSA - champagne and orange juice. Wheat and a very weak spice. Fairly thick over all, leaves a heavy coating in my mouth, not quite as heavily carbonated as a mimosa but still, it's pretty prominent. Kinda creamy as well. Finishes long, fresh and sour. Man, the sediment pile left over is pretty insanely thick and unmovable. Well as far as a hefe goes, this doesn't really rank too high but getting surprised with a beer that mimics a drink I have once a year during a special holiday breakfast sure as hell counts as something in my books. I would get obliterated if I had a ton of this in the summer.

Tried this at the Spring Beer and wine Fest in Portland. Good to see the Lang Creek folks there.... Infused with mandarin orange, the flavor complements the beer well and doesnt take over.... Kinda in the German style but its more of an American wheat. Honey, Grassy malts, juiciness from the orange was refreshing. Some light bitter/dry balance...... Only wish it were a little richer
