We at Lang Creek Brewery think we live in a pretty awesome neck of the woods. Part of the draw to this area is the uniqueness of the Flathead Valley. On the eastern side of Flathead Lake lie the orchards responsible for producing the Flathead’s famous cherries. A scenic springtime drive around the lake showcases the cherry blossoms at their finest, in full bloom!! It would be appropriate to pay tribute to that spectacle of blossoms. As winter comes to a close and spring starts to work its magic on the Flathead Valley, we figured releasing a cherry porter would capture the mood and bring a taste of the Flathead Valley to you. The sweet, tart taste of cherries is a perfect pairing with the dark chocolate malts that encompass the flavor profile of our porter. An inspired porter brought to you from our connection with the Flathead Valley and those famous Flathead cherries.

Bottle courtesy of kyzr. Pours dark brown with a tan head. Smells of cherries and caramel. Tastes of chocolate, cherrie pie, some tarte hints and a touch of roastiness. Mouthfeel is velvety. Very enjoyable.
