Slightly opaque pale yellow, no foam left. Very little aroma and quite normal taste. Bit dissapointed, but then it is the start of a nice tasting evening. (Rennes 201507)

330 ml bottle. Poured in the original Lancelot vase a hazy straw-yellow colored Blanche with a one finger white creamy foamy head that had a very long retention and tons of micro bubbles. Active carbonation. No lacing. The aroma is yeast, wheat and sourish malts, notes of citrus. The flavour is yeast, wheat grainy malts, spicy, cloves, coriander. The mouthfeel is round although a bit watery. This light bodied Blanche has a dry slighty spicy finish. A soft Blanche, easy drinkable and refreshing.

Bottle. Hazy/cloudy yellow colour with a medium white head. Aroma has coriander, cloves, citrus and wheat. Taste is not bad; citrusy, perfumed, wheaty. Thin mouthfeel, quite highly carbonated, with a slightly acidic finish. A reasonable wit.

Second beer out of eight brought back by my girlfriend, from Europe. Sampled from their 330ml brown bottle, written "bière de froment" on the silver label. This witbier pours a light golden-beige colour with a fat white head. The retention is very long and the lacing is so-so. The aroma is very nice and smooth with different spices and the ususal witbier scent. Nothing offensive. The taste is the same, mixed in with a slight bitter finish, but yet very smooth. Quite light, but very refreshing. A French witbier that is above-average.
