This is one of those beers that some of my friends love (they claim it's all they can afford on their 6 figure incomes). Anyway, the beer is clear golden yellow with a huge frothy white head. The aroma is a combination of vomit and pisswater. The flavour is slightly better as there is a bitter finish indicating a hop or two accidently fell into the brewing vat.

The beer poured a medium gold colour with a huge white head. The aroma was slightly grainy with no other discerning flavours. The mouthfeel was medium-bodied with little carbonation. The flavour was very grainy with no hoppish presence. -

One of the buck a beer brews that are only drinkable ice cold. Even then it's tough to call this a good beer. Slightly off yellow body with little to no head. Taste is of corn adjuncts and a slight hop aroma mixed with hints of vegetables of some sort (possibly carrots) Amazes me that people will pick this discount beer "for its taste" I find that hard to believe especially considering its served ice cold and is only good for getting smashed which i admit i have done with this beer in the past (before i knew better)

One of the most common of the plague of "value beers" absoletly no taste or flavour and lots of carbination, drinking them warm does not help either. Not recommended at all.

Bottle: Poured a deep bright yellow color beer with a medium pure white foamy head with surprisingly good retention. Aroma of corn and adjunct is quite powerful and disgusting. Taste is also quite strong with corn and adjunct with a dry finish and no hops. Wow, this is quite bad and not even close to a pilsner.

OK. This beer spells more popcorn, than pilsener. It pours a golden colour with a small head and lacing. The nose is malty with some notes of corn. Water mouthfeel that is crisp. The taste has a slight bite at first with some bitterness, but then leads into the major corn dish. When a burp comes out, that is when you feel the popcorn effect... you can even taste the butter on it.

Lekeport pilsner is a solid beer, a smooth start, with a mild after taste. and it tastes better and better the more you drink. Go Hamilton! Ti-Cats all the way! Holy Macenaw!

****Re-try/Re-review**** Ironically for swill, this beer is actually better out of the glass than the can, which, in my experience, is odd for swill. The aroma is atypical swill aroma, not offensive but nothing special ergo the 6 rating. The appearance was just a tad below what I have come to expect for this brewer/style. Mouthfeel is weaker out of the glass than the can/bottle which leaves an odd gritty feeling on the teeth. Taste wise, it's basically a cheap knock-off of Blue, which is an average pilsner to begin with off. But it's drinkable.
