Our flagship beer, named after the hardworking neighborhood in which Lakefront Brewery was founded. Pours a brilliant amber with a bubbly off-white head. Aromas of American hops mingle with a slight floral character from the German lager yeast. A balanced maltiness with just a hint of sweetness dominates the flavor, with a crisp hop bite in the finish. A joy to drink; no wonder it's Milwaukee's favorite craft beer. Pair this beer with any good German entrée like schnitzel or rouladen and you'll have an instant hit. Ideal Serving Temp: 46-48° F

Pours a dark amber with a 2 finger head that lofts a bit. Lots of carbonation. Aroma is very malty and sweet. Taste is fairly typical of the style but with a little Lakefront crapola mixed in. Forgettable but drinkable.

Another Lakefront/Wisconsin beer from PfoxyJohn. Light copper pour with a nice creamy head, plenty of lacing. Sweet malt aroma and initial flavor, then some caramel, very lightly biscuity and nutty, kiss of hops to lightly bitter and offset malts. Very drinkable, easy and smooth. Thanks John.

It pours a copper and amber with a rather thick white-head and some surrounding lacing. An aroma of caramel malts, light hops, gingerbread, oranges and citrus, biscuits, some bitterness, and mild spiciness. The mouthfeel is smooth, thick, and rich. Flavors of caramel malts, hops, gingerbread and biscuits, oranges and citrus, bitterness, and spiciness. Excellent .. I love this style..

Had this beer at the Comfort Inn in Milwaukee. This place is a hole and this beer isn't that much better. I'm all about trying the local beer but this isn't the best Milwaukee has to offer. I'll try others.

A gift from my wife from her trip to Wisconsin; pours deep amber with a slight thin head and ample malty sweet aroma. Smooth on the pallette with a rich finish. Deep, rich malty flavor with a nice bread-like touch. Nice drinkable beer.

Pours a copper brown with a low head. Aroma is watery malt. Flavor is sweet and watery. Mouthfeel is watery carbonation. My professional assessment is that they used too much water and not enough ingredients.

Bottled@Monks Café, Wallingatan, Stockholm. Amber colour, small beige head. Aroma is quite fruity, earthy, mildly bready malts as well as some berries and mild saltwatery notes. Flavour is quite much the same.

i was intrigued by the premise of this all malt amber lager, but it was another miss. slight fart character to the aroma (nice, no?). the flavor was unique, but not good enough to make up for the otherwise unimpressive beer.

A light colored reddish amber colored beer. Big frothy off white head. Some retention, settling into a nice lacing. The nose is malty with a tinge of citrus. Nicely carbonated. But light bodied. A smooth crispness on the palate. The citrus is more prominent in the taste than on the nose, but not overpoweringly so. Decent quaff

Pours a beautiful dark coppery amber with a VERY thick, if not too persistent, head. (The bottle foamed like nobody's business so I had to grab a bath towel or get a lapful of beer!) Aroma is quite strong and malty with just a hint of citrus. Taste is malty, not complex but pleasing, with just a touch of sweetness. Texture is smooth and lively, leaving quite a tingle.
