A true Wisconsin Lager - A freshly plowed acre of soft, rich soil. Without a single word it tells the story of a community, hard work, and a fierce dedication to the land. It recalls a time when neighbor looked after neighbor. And it reminds us that everything that we need we can get right from our good Wisconsin Earth. With this in mind, Lakefront set out to try something new, or old as it were - using all locally grown ingredients to create a distinctly Wisconsin beer. Ample amounts of Wisconsin grown 6-row malted barley give this unfiltered lager its hearty body and hazy straw color. Its malty sweetness is balanced with an elegant finish from Wisconsin grown Cascade hops. The result - a flavor that is signature to Wisconsin. So raise your bottle high, toast your neighbor, and taste the soul of Wisconsin.

From PfoxyJohn. Medium golden yellow coloring, tall white head, nice lacing throughout. Very nice nose of malts/Noble hops, lemongrass and straight up lemons, some breadiness, but still clean and tasty. Very impressive offering - I really liked this one on a hot evening. Could drink plenty of this one.

I love the idea of all Wisconsin ingredients and a classic Wisconsin style, albeit imperial. Clear dark yellow with a sour grassy aroma. A decent snappy pils flavor with a strong malt background. The more I drink it the more I like it.

Sent by heybeerman, the Wisconsin goodness just keeps flowing my way. This was a very nice light brew that was opened and shared at a small tasting. Placement was good as this snappy treat was welcomed between some darker, heartier bottles. Great light golden yellow pour, strong carbonation with a big white head and ample lacing. Pale biscuit malts with a heavy grass aspect and some floral hops along with a slight mix of citrus.
