Named after our brewery's founders, Russ and Jim Klisch, this beer is brewed in the tradition of great Czech pilsners. A beautiful, brilliant blonde-gold pour with a light hoppy aroma. Malts and a slight hop bitterness round out the flavor of this classic style. Klisch is a smooth and full bodied golden lager you'll remember forever. Try Klisch Pilsner with any Bohemian or German dish, especially sausages. This beer has a full enough body to stand up to spicy and rich foods as well. Ideal Serving Temp: 45-47° F

Yet another Wisconsin brew from the PfoxyJohn. Light yellow color with a medium white head and little lacing. Lightly sweet malty aroma and palate with a very light hops presence, almost watery. Thin but again, nicely refreshing on a hot day. Thank you John.

This was sweeter and less dry than I expected and it even seemed to be a lagery version of their mardi gras maibock. I really expected more from this.

It pours a light golden-yellow with a thin white head and some surrounding lacing. A rather sweet aroma of malts, hops, orange and lemon, apple cider, and zesty spiciness. The mouthfeel is smooth and fairly rich. Flavors of fresh malts, hops, lemon and orange, some apple cider, tart and light bitterness, and spiciness. It's good..

Pale carbonated yellow with a moderate white fizzy head that quickly dissapates with no lacing. Grain and grass in the nose with a slightly malty flavor. Light bodied. Good for yard work in warm weather. Predictable.

I got a yellow straw colored beer. Small soapy white head. Not much hang time. A light lacing is left behind. Smells like corn and a slight biscuitry Lots of carbonation. A moderate to full bodied beer. Nice smoothness. The taste is sweet. Not much else. Drinkable, with some good points, as in body, and weak points as in nose and taste.

Pours a typical clear straw-yellow, with a very thick if not too persistent head. Aroma is strong and malty with a fruity undertone, appealing and tempting. Flavor is typical of a pilsner, except it is more mouth-filling than I expected and has a slight hoppy bitter undertone and a firm hint of sour fruit. Texture is fizzy, lively and sassy, leaving a malty and sour aftertaste.

Really not much to say about this beer. Not much flavor and aroma was pretty plain. However, it has a crisp, clean, smooth taste making it fairly easy to drink, although I would have liked a stronger hop presence.

I was hoping for a little more out of this one. There’s none of the noble hop tingle that I expect from a good pilsner, but the bone malt isn’t too bad. It just comes across as lightly sweet crackers and nothing to balance it.

Light golden and just a tad hazy with some floculation, and a slight, fleeting white head. Biscuity aroma of fresh grain and light hops. Mouthfeel is crisp but smooth. A nice sharp blend of flavors: fresh grains, firm malt and tart hops. Refreshing, clean and dry finish. This is quite a good American-style pilsner from brewmaster Russ Klisch.
