Tall can from LCBO. Pours an average size frothy tan head and has a dark brown appearance with amber highlights. Decent sticky lacing. Moderate carbonation. Aromas of coffee, chocolate, vanilla, mild roasted malts. Flavours are sweet and roasted malts, coffee and chocolate notes are quite noticeable. Slick and slightly oily mouthfeel. Somewhat of a dry finish.

The beer pours a dark coca-cola colour with a thin bubbly brown head which recedes slowly to a thin ring, and laces nicely. The aroma is coffee, roasted malt, and some dark chocolate. The mouthfeel is full bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is coffee, coffee, and more coffee with some hints of anise in the mix. If you like coffee, you will probably like this. -

Pours a dark brown colour with copper highlights. The head is big, warm-beige, long lasting and leaving some decent lace spots. Aromas of nicely balanced roasted malts and freshly grounded coffee. The taste shows a little more on the roasted malt side with some hints of dark fruits. The finish is lightly dry. Some mild coffee notes linger on the tongue. Hops seem to take over a bit where the coffee should shine in the mouth. An easy-drinking stout with the coffee not being too powerful, for those who do not like it as much.
