Don't get overly excited when I come across sixers of Lagerheads, and this offering sat around for a while until I finally pulled the trigger. Good decision as this is a very good festbier. Inviting malty aroma, although subdued it lets you know that it's bready with a soft caramel sweetness. Pencil thin head on an amber ~ brown body with faint lacing. Medium bodied, clean and soothing. Flavor is all bread, pastries, and caramel with a subtle euro hop presence. I could down boot after boot of this wonderful brew.

Pours a clear golden amber with a medium sized head, decent retention, and a resulting lace that's spotty. The aroma is sweet with hints of bread and caramel, with a bitter hop note edging around the sweetness. The taste starts a little sweet, bread, caramel and a touch of butteriness, then cut into mid-taste by a biting grass bitterness. The mouth feel is light to medium body, with a soft, tingly carbonation. Finishes fairly dry.
