Batch #5, from Bootlegger (Paris) April 2011. Comes in a corked and caged champagne split-type bottle. Needed a pair of Channel-Lock pliers to remove the huge synthetic cork. What a stubborn bastard. This could serve as a butt plug (should I keep it?). Pour was a dark copper, very cloudy, and no head whatsoever. Nose had spices, yeast, dark fruit, and alcohol (this is 10% ABV). Flavour was not dissimilar to the aroma, but with a sweet component. Seriously enjoyable. Buttery mouthfeel, with alcohol at the finish along with a thin layer of sediment at the bottom of the bottle. Bad choice of a beer for today though, at it is about 30 degrees celcius and I should've saved this for colder weather.
