500 ml capped bottle. Poured an opaque unfiltered and unpasteurized orange-brown coloured ale with a two fingers beige creamy foamy head that had a very long retention and tons of micro bubbles. Soft carbonation. Some lacing. The aroma is sweety malts and a lot of spices, gingerbread, cinnamom, coriander, nutmeg. The flavour is toasted malts, spicy, coriander, gingerbread, nutmeg and a nice hoppy bitterness. The mouthfeel is creamy and surprising a bit watery. This medium to full bodied ale has a spicy bitter finish. All the ingredients to brew a superb Christmas ale are put together but it is not enough to be a success !
