4oz sample. Pours no head whatsoever with weak lacing as a result. Has a clean and clear straw coloured appearance. Lively carbonation. Aromas of ginger, earthy and herbal hops, a bit lemony. Flavours are mostly ginger at the forefront, some light citrus and herbal notes in the finish.

Another disappointment from this brewery...Lack of carbonation and overpowering ginger flavor too much is too much, but if you like ginger taste a lot you may like this beer...For summer could quench, but too far for me to enjoy this product as a beer...

The first small pour of this brew created a huge white foamy head completely filling the glass. After a few pours, I finally got everything in. Crazy vivid carbonation, medium retention, patchy lacing and a head that fizz like ginger ale (except longer). Hazy golden-beige colour with some small white sediment in the bottom of the glass. The nose is kind of sour with nice citrus perfume and a touch of ginger in the back. The taste starts off sour (maybe pass the best before date ?) with slight ginger in the aftertaste. After a while, the sourness seems to disappear a bit. There seems to be a touch of wax, which I also found in their carrot brew, and don't really enjoy. Overall good, but wish the ginger would be a tad more evident in the taste.

Bottle: Poured a golden colored beer with very little head. Seems to lack carbonation. Aroma is quite sweet and ginger can already be detected. Taste is totally overpowered by ginger, which in my case is a good thing since I quite like ginger. Overall, this is a very refreshing beer that may lack subtlety but those not lack ginger.
