La Lièvre de nuit est une bière noire à l'avoine. De couleur noire comme une sombre nuit, sa mousse brunâtre, son goût délicat de cacao noir et de grain de café sauront envoûter votre palais, jusqu’à la prochaine gorgée.

4oz sample. Pours an average size frothy tan head , decent sticky lacing, has a dark amber brownish appearance. Light roasted malt aromas, hints of earthy hops and oats. Flavours of toasted malt, coffee and very faint oat notes. Mildly smooth and slick mouthfeel.

Pours a dark brown colour with ruby highlights. Beige coloured head, decent retention with a little lacing. Coffee nose over roasted malts, hints of berries, sometimes cocoa and grassy hops. Smooth silky mouthfeel. The taste is fruity and roasted malts with a bitter, mildly dry finish. An alright stout, but not so much an oatmeal one.
