A gift from an Armenian friend. The bottle says fresh until March 2021. The pour is a clear gold color, with a huge pillowy white head. Lacing exists, but is weak. The nose detects a lot of bready malts, metallic notes, and sawdust. Watery body, well carbonated. Flavor tends to the grainy side of the spectrum. Free beers are always good, but they should usually taste better than this

Clear light yellow, small white foam ring. Malty aroma, weak taste. Light malty, some metal notes. Not the best beer, but it is from a country not seen much. (Velp 201412)

500 ml capped bottle. Poured in a beer mug a clear and golden-yellow coloured Pale Lager with a one finger slightly beige and soapy foamy head that had a mid-sized retention and tons of micro bubbles. Soft carbonation. Great lacing. The aroma is moderate malty and an unpleasant skunky feeling. The flavour is sweety malts, candies, herbal notes and a vague bitterness. The mouthfeel is thin and almost flat. The texture is watery. This light to medium bodied Pale Lager has a dry sweety finish. Overall a sugary water, quickly forgotten.

Picked this up recently at Binny's in Naperville: Pours a clear orangeish golden. Big frothy white head. Aroma is actually not too bad, pretty much what i would expect from this type of brew. lots of lacing on the glass. Corn, yeast and plenty malt on the palate. Slightly tangy near the finish.

Poured out a big foamy off white head, left some random messy lacing on top of a slightly hazy solid gold / slight amber brew. The aroma was nice and seemed warm. Slightly spicy (different) yeast, interesting malts and a bit fruity. The taste is pretty fine with good malts and some slightly spicy yeast. Comes across quite smooth and light with a good after taste with a light but lengthy bitter lingering. Is this stuff still even sold here anymore?

12oz green bottle. Sampled at the Lynnwood International Swill Fest. Fizzy yellow beer color. Small head. Aroma is malt, grain and fruit, touch of corn as well. A medium bodied Pale lager. Malts are fruity and VERY sweet. Slightly spicy hops. Kinda sweet, kinda thin, kinda flat, and kind Cornish. Not terrible, but nothing above a cookie cutter Euro Pale Lager either. There is a sweetish aftertaste that is kind of objectionable. Mouthfeel is thin. Finish is smooth. Aftertaste is sweetish.

slightly cloudy golden-yellow colour, fine head, nice lace, grainy and slightly skunky with only few hops in the nose, sweet and full-bodied with a long herbal finish

k, mine was skunked. only a little, but seemed dusty and old, but some of the flavor made its way through, which was kind of yeasty with a little malt following.
