It pours a dark brown and copper with a thick light-tan head and copious lacing. A nutty aroma of roasted caramel malts, hops, toast, orange and light pineapple, light molasses and brown sugar, raisins, coconut milk, and mild spiciness. The mouthfeel is smooth, silky, and rich. Flavors of roasted caramel malts, toast, orange and citrus, hops, nuttiness, light molasses and brown sugar, coconut milk, raisins, and spiciness. Wonderful!

Growler. Pours a clear cola brown with a very thick light tan head - the growler I got fizzed like champagne, so have a towel handy. Malty aroma has an overtone of coconut, wood and cloves. Malty core of the flavor supports woody clove and coconut notes, a touch of sweetness and a hint of caramel. Texture is smooth and fairly fizzy, if not firm. Go koko-nuts!

Deep brown pour with a medium sized off white head. Mildly sweet aroma. The taste was a near perfect balance of coconut and malt. Really enjoyed this beer. Thank you Noble Hops of Tucson, AZ.

pours a burnt orange tinged brown color with nice off white head with good lacing on glass. The aroma is excellent, coconut, vanilla, nougat, and caramel. The taste of coconut is strong here as well but not quite as dominant as on the aroma, a nice almond joy type flavor to this with coconut, nougat, some light milk chocolate and some light almond like notes. The mouthfeel is light bodied and high carbonation.

Welcome to oHIo Kona, but I'm four and out with your lackadaisical offerings. Toned down contract brewed perhaps, playing to the masses will not get you fresh shelf space in this area I'm afraid. Not much doing in the aroma, lacking depth and strength. Clear brown body, thin head and spotty lacing. Too thin in the mouthfeel, but chewy enough to keep my interest. Minor rost followed by sweet chocolate, coconut, and toast. Very mild brown, I was hoping for much more.

Unexpected find out in the boonies of the east Tennessee countryside. Deep clear brown pour with a nice light tan head and very nice lacing. Sweet nutty and brown sugar aroma, light coconut in the end, very light roasted malts, lightly hopped. Flavor is much like the aromas with slightly thin mouth, but it is a brown not a porter, so forgivable, creamy nutty with aforementioned coconuts, which makes it a winner with me. Loved it - glad I tried it.

Brown appearance with a beige head. Aroma contains some nutmeg, chocolate milk, and toffee. Flavor is rather sweet with some cocoa powder, caramel, coconut, and toffee. The finish is also sweet. Overall this is different but pretty good.

Uh Raquel, so many go to bed hungry in this nation, yet cat food is full of tuna! I can't help but think each time I go to the zoo and see those porpoises, crammed into those tiny tanks, what a waste that is. Butcher half of them now! That's hundreds of pounds of dolphin meat that can be fed to our cats, freeing up that tuna for our nation's hungry.

What an interesting ale. Mahogany in color. A medium sized frothy textured, light beige head. There some hang time. Settles into a thin ringlet. Light coconut nose. Bolder coconut tasting with some grass and light roasty malt. Well crafted. A little light in body. But the tasting more than makes up for the shortcoming.

Wow! Smells like coconut and brown ale. Pours watery. Looks thin. Slight foam cap. And then its gone. So far, I would expect a lot more from a brown ale. Especially in the body. But then there is the taste. A coconut explosion. I love this stuff. Think brown ale and coconut. What could be better? Nothing.
