We brewed this violent action in a new version this year. Slightly lower alcohol than last year, but now on platter! Lots of malt and high alcohol content gives a good body. Sweetness and the alcohol is balanced with plenty of hops and a good portion røgmalt. Finally, we let the beer store on American oak shavings. An excellent beer to enjoy the fireplace!

Draught@CPH BF 2011. Amber colour, small white head. Aroma is leathery, malty, mildly toasted and also has some smoked wet wooden notes. Flavour is leathery, mild toasted and burnt wet wooden notes along with some slight caramel and also some slight notes of alcohol. Yet very pleasantly balanced.
