Gotta rate this as is, and since KD doesn't date their bottles, I dont feel that's unfair. In retrospect, Sac beer week was in February. Then why the bleep is there a display for this 9.5 month old beer at the Total Wine 10 minutes from the bleeping brewery?! Anyway, it sucked. Stale malt forward beer with a little bitterness and spice the only evidence that this was once an iPa. Date the damn bottles, guys.

Sampled on 4/20/2012. This American Pale Ale pours a medium orange gold color form a 22oz bottle. Small to medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is citrusy, hoppy and grapefruity. A medium to lighter bodied American Pale Ale. The malts are caramel, fruity and sweet. The hops are grapefruity and citrusy. Decent carbonation. The hoppiness has some staying power, nice long lasting bitterness. Might be a nice session APA. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.
