I have had quite a few of these as well as the other cheap 40s (Milwaukees, Hurricane, etc.) and I'm not proud of it. I still must say I prefer these over natty. It's bitter and has all around terrible flavor. The best way to drink these is sharing them with a friend cause after all misery loves company. You may get a laugh at how bad the experience is. Oh, the hangovers are bad.

Not one to normally rate from memory, I couln't resist after seeing this pop up on the site. 40's of King Cobra were a fairly regular fixture for my friends and I during a few year span in college. A forty or two each and a case of Busch Light would easily subdue us on any given evening. Standard malt liquor and the drive through provided the ghetto bags that fit perfectly. Watch out as this one will bite you.

Dark yellow, pea colored body. The aroma is next to nothing other then wet straw and plenty of skunkyness. The taste follows closely behind but adds a malty flavor which isn't easy to gulp down. If you are trying to acheive a buzz then this is definately a go to beer. Not high quality by any means but for the price, what do you expect.

King Cobra isn't that bad. It's fairly cheap so that's always a plus. I bought a 40 ounce bottle the other day and drank all of it! It tastes just like any other malt liquor so I dont know why some people like to hate on it. Get yourself a couple bucks together and get yourself a cobra. It will get you drunk ina hurry so take it easy when your srinking it. Make sure to drink it ice cold, almost freezing and it tastes a little better. It's my 2nd favorite cheap beer. Busch ice is my favorite cheap beer! King Cobra's great when your on a budget too!

WoW! The texas horns like bareback action. Just ask Mack Brown. His nickname isn't "BACK BROWN" for nothing." He probably likes this beer. He takes it with him to the AG barn when he "visits" the team mascot. Yo go Back Brown!

King Cobra is one helluva beer. A nice alcohol bite to make you feel good. Colour - pale gold. Aroma - alcohol. Mouthfeel - watery. Flavour - strong. Overall - good.

Really not a bad beer, I prefer it over Bud, Busch, Natty, and a lot of other more pricey beers. If you throw a wedge of lime in it and flip the bottle a couple tines it's a step above corona IMO. I give it a 7 with the lime.

FIrst, I laughed when this is reffered to as a "strong lager," and I agree there is no better description. This is not a beer a person buys to enjoy. This is one where if you can stand the strong flavor and aroma, as well as, put up with the watery mouthfeel, then, you will get drunk and that is about all it's good for.

This stuff is up there with Old'E. Its pretty much only good for getting smashed. I deliver beer on the crapy part of town, so alot of this and Hurricane go out on my truck every day.
