Latvian cherry beer, by a very solid Kimmel brewery. And this is the second Latvian cherry beer for me, and I should say both are quite good fruit beers (Kimmel and Lacplesis). Deep reddish-brownish color, large creamy foam, that disappears very rapidly and leaves no lacing. Fresh and intense malty and cherry aroma. Watery and sweetish, close to medium bodied, spaicy and sour in a mouth. The flavor is more or less well balanced and harmonious - malty background, rich fruity sweetness, spicyness and sour. Leaves full cherry liquor aftertaste with slight hoppy traces. Very similar to Flemish sour beer. Drinkable and real exotic in Baltics.
