330 ml bottle. Poured a clear pale yellow colored beer with a one finger white creamy foamy head that had a good retention. Very intense carbonation. Some lacing. The aroma is an unpleasant aciditic sourish sensation. The flavour is mild, slight sweety malts and the same aciditic sourish effect as for the smell. This light bodied " beer " has a dry sourish finish. More in the style of a cider. To my knowledge is this beer not available in France, it is only brewed for the export. ( I bought it in England).

Kasteel Cru is a great champagne substitute. It is crisp, light flavour, dry, delicate, has an exellent aroma, well balanced, but when push comes to shove, decent champagne is of a comparably price, and is infinately more socially appropriate. I wouldnt go out of my way to try this beer, but North American Macro brews could take a lesson on true refreshment.
