Not a commercial description... This is not really a lager, it is a Landbier, which is a minor version of a lager. Landbier's have less carbonation, more malts, and are brewed in very small batches.

Meh, it was alright. Typical of many Austrian beers of the type. Grassy, earthy aroma with a slightly nutty flavor. Thin looking and mouthfeel. No outstanding distinguishing characteristics.

While this beer is not very good when compared with others of the same style, it stands alone pretty well. This was a beer obtained in Austria during a visit to an irish pub, and was perhaps the best they had (besides the obligatory guinness). Very pale translucent appearance turned me off right away. However, when poured, the head sticks around for a while, and there is a lack of bubbles which I liked a lot. Low carbonation really helped the palate!! Great aspect. Taste was mediocre, would have this one again, need to get more landbiers.
