Kaltenberg Hell tastes both elegant and sparkling. His Royal Highness Prince Luitpold of Bavaria personally ensures the high quality of this beer. It is brewed by the bottom fermentation method with selected raw materials from Southern Germany - totally in accordance with old Bavarian tradition. At Kaltenberg Castle with this beer Prince Luitpold of Bavaria continues the long tradition of the House of Wittelsbach.

The Helles is the most common Kaltenberg. It's got a very very soft bitterness. The color seems to be golden. Leaves a very stable foam. With it's subtle aroma it is meant to be consumed in large quantities.

Everything from Kaltenberg that I've had was good. Especially at the brewery fest watching the reenactment guys and gals Joust. Wish I could find someone to import the Hells and Dunkel to Arizona. I just realized it's been 10 years since I left Augsburg. Wish I could take a mini vacation back to Bavaria!
