Sweet Jesus. I found this beer at Big Lots for...well, $1 a bottle. I didn’t expect much, nor did I know how old this bottle was. But tomorrow I’m going back to load up because this was a fantastic hefe and I think the rest of this summer will do nicely drinking this beer.
The beer pours out a solid yellow body, cloudy with a rocky white head that had nice retentionn and really appealing lacing. Aroma is big banana, citrus, and yeast. Flavor has some buttered crackers, sweet french bread, light citrus, clove and banana. Quite a suprise.
