I've been waiting for it so long :) Kalnpilis Dvaro was one of the very first new beers after Lithuanian independence in 1990. It was extremely popular, but after 10 years of fame Kalnapilis took it out of the market and started to brew Original (with the same green label). And now it's back. As they say "the legend is back". I just started drinking beer, when it was very popular and I was a great fan of it. So I'm very happy to have it back in new stylish orange label. Very good lager. Traditional, though, but perfectly balanced. Light amber color, soft fluffy head, pleasant and rich malty-corny-grassy aroma. Medium bodied, watery and well balanced brew. Malty flavor, some rye and hoppy patches, corny and sweet traces, finely bitter at the end, smooth fresh bitter aftertaste. Ok, probably I overevaluate it, but nevertheless it' very good, solid and well brewed lager. I just enjoy it.
