This low-alcohol beer promises, but fails to deliver. Maybe because I am so used to fine imports and craft brews? Aroma is malty with a hint of sweetness. Color is a deep golden brown, so it at least looks like real beer. Flavor, however, leaves a lot to be desired. It scarcely tastes like beer - the flavor is thin and, though not nasty, barely mediocre. It feels watery, like a "light" beer. An "A" for effort, but unfortunately somehow the brewers removed the taste along with the alcohol.

Pours a clear straw yellow, small white head with a little bit of lace. The aroma is sweet, like dough. A bit like unfermented wort. The taste has a hint of green apple tartness, chalky yeast tones, and no hop flavor with vague suggestions of watery caramel and mild toasted qualities. Light bodied, feels like beer. Good carbonation and crisp. Not bad for a near beer.

I have tried several non-alcoholic beers and thought they were all a little nasty. Kaliber is the only one that tastes great. It is one of the best bears I've ever had. It's so good I could have one with a bowl of cereal for breakfast. Try it, they're $7.00 a 6 pack.

It pours burnt-orange/amber with a thick light-tan head and copious lace. A sweet aroma of caramel malts, hops, citrus blend, and light spiciness. The mouthfeel is smooth and rich. Flavors of caramel malts, hops, light butterscotch, citrus, and light spiciness. Wimpy ... but it isn't too bad.

330 ml green bottle, bought in Sweden. Crystal clear very pale yellow colour, big to moderate white head. Typical n/a beer aroma of over-boiled vegetables and baby maize porridge. Thin and watery mouthfeel. The flavour has notes of over-boiled vegetables and wet cardboard, hardly any bitterness. Terrible.

Tried this "beer" the other night for the first time at my brother-in-law's place. I was most impressed. It does taste a little more like real beer compared to other N/A brands (such as O'Doules or Sharps), but from a guy who loves beer I find it hard to compare any of these with the real thing. I do think I've found a new favorite in the N/A category though... It has a very nice aroma, color and wonderful flavor... It's definitely darker than other N/A beers but doesn't really compare with a straight-up Guiness. Lovely malt flavor with an almost molasses or maple taste to it. Almost too sweet to compare with real beer, but I enjoyed it none-the-less because it is a very unique-tasting beverage. In fact, I think it's quite possible that even a non-beer drinking person might enjoy this offering by Guiness.

wow...i wouldn't think that a non-skunky beer could even possibly be near the bottom of the barrel. there's some foul crap down there...but this beer belongs there all the way. they somehow managed to mess up the muddled malt flavor (the only flavor there) so badly that it's just horrid to taste. the aroma is a touch better, still crap. the look is better than the worst, but this over gassy beer sucks.

Presentation: It was poured from a brown 12oz bottle into a little dimpled Guinness mug. Appearance: The body had a nice light honey color with a small creamy off white colored head. The head fades quickly leaving nothing behind. Smell: Its aroma was light and some buttery, sweet and bready notes. Taste/Mouth feel: It has a light body and a thin watery texture with odd buttery and grainy flavored malt. Also there is a mild and bland over cooked hop flavor that sneaks into the finish. The carbonation is lifeless and almost flat. Notes: Overall it had more beer flavor than I expected (similar to a weak watered down English Bitter) but I still wouldn't seek this one out.

As far as NA beres go, this was one of the better ones, but it left a lot to be desired. It did pour a clear golden color with a very tall fluffy white head. Its aroma was largely grain with notes of rice. The flavor matched the aroma with a bland character.

A truly great beer... has a delicious flavour for a reduced alcohol beer .. the foam level is awesome, lower on the lacing ... flavour is good, even fooled a friend thinking this was a regular beer ... wonderful on a warm day when alcohol is not an option!!
