A dull yellow colored beer with a big sudsy textured, white head rising above. There's good hang time on the head. Settles into a thin ringlet. Nose is fruity apricot and wine. More apricot in the tasting. Light bodied, nearly watery. .

i bought this for sh-ts and giggles. JJames beers, new to Reno in 2009, all pretty much sucked when the distributor gave us a sample. this is the first new one i've seen. though i expected little, i was open to the possibility that it could be good...you just never know. that optimism evaporated when i popped the top, though. the aroma was a little bubblegummy and a touch of clove, but like some of the others, was generic, kit-like, and had a little extra something that was "off". i had to pour vigorously to get any head, which ended up thin white soda like. cloudy yellow with floaties due to the pour. how does it have prickly carbonation yet taste flat and have practically no head? flavor is the strong point and would have potential if they didn't make this a "lite". still generic, kit-like, but refreshing enough to make it good enough to avoid the drain.
