Sample from bottle, RBNG 2014 in Halden, Grand Tasting. Cloudy golden colour, huge white head. Typical American IPA with its hoppy character in both aroma and flavour - I did not quite get the farmhouse notes, but it had been a long day ...

Pours hazy apricot with a fair ivory head. Aroma presents tart fruit and funky tones. Flavor provides sweet tropical fruit, fresh malt and subtle woody hops. Texture delivers good body and peppy fizz. Bewitching!

Sampled from magnum bottle. Pours hazy, tarnished gold with a creamy white head and good lace. Grassy, floral, citrus hops with Orval-like brett yeast esters. Slightly bitter and refreshing. Pleasant brett flavors with some grassy hops and pils malt flavor. Medium-bodied and moderate-high carbonation. Enjoyable hybrid farmhouse ale.

Bottle share from Ratchet. Hazy straw yellow pour, bubbly head, nice lingering lacing. Light funk, sweet straw, citrus zest, honey suckle, floral hops bitter. Some spiciness and a bit more zest bitter and funk as it warms a bit. Thanks Ratchet.

My bottle has a 7.2% but I'm sure its the same beer. Gold body with a thick white head floating on top. Piney aroma with resin.......the aroma is so much milder then I thought it would be but still very yummy. Rye is really dominating the malt character. Taste is just a big bitter hop bomb of yummy blackness. Hop profile is all pine with hints of grapefruit. Rye, rye, and more rye. I was hoping for more farmhouse funk..........its very limited. I get random hints of bubblegum but it be faint. It be so very bitter. BLACKNESS!!!!!!

Had as Wytchmaker Wild .. . pours a hazy gold amber .. lots of foam, lacing is impressive .. . light barnyard and some bitterness .. a bit muddled but i think it needs time for the funk to do its thing, or more hops- not sure .. . . alex morgan, you sexy bitch!!

Sampled @ Jester Kings 1st Anniv. tasting yesterday. Wow probably my favorite beer of the day. Nice big aromas of citrus, tropical fruits, and sweet malts, The flavor mirrored the aroma with a nice grapefruit tartness in the middle. Mouthfeel was a little sticky, and had a little pepper bite to it. A nice deep hazy orange hued body, white frothy cap that had some nice thick lace. Overall i liked this one a bit better than the regular Wytchmaker, a winner.
