House Lager pulls inspiration from the numerous country lagers, or landbiers, found in Franconia. It’s sweet and golden with a full malty body that comes from using a traditional German malt variety. A special beer for year-round enjoyment.

Pours clear solar yellow with a thick ivory head. Aroma provides crisp malt, sweet tangy apple, and a hint of bitter piney hops. Flavor delivers crisp fresh malt with sweet apple and bitter hops in attendance. Texture presents fair body and perky fizz. A good simple lager that could be a gateway to craft beers for mega-brew loyalists.

Grass and a bit of funk/skunk in the nose, with a bit of floral hops and some honey. Medium gold body topped with moderate haead, skim coat retention, no lace to speak of. Mouth is medium to light with decent carbonation level.Tastes like a very pleasant Bud. Sweet malts just present with an ever so slight sour finish, clean on the pallet afterwards. Pretty well balanced but a touch on the sweet side. A simply brew, indeed a house lager. Very quaffable on a hot summer's day.
