Take the ability to quaff large amounts of this, and it's a pretty good beer. While there isn't anything horribly wrong with the beer, there's nothing really outstanding either. I suppose that's a good thing, no? A malty aroma with hints of corn. Typical golden lager color with a decent head. Not much in terms of flavor with a clean finish. Drinkable, yes definitely. Outstanding, no.

Going to have to buck the trend so far with regards to this beer -- I thought it was rather tasty and appealing..., even more than the Jack's Huntsman's Lager from this same brewery.
All rather typical in appearence and in the nose -- zero skunk, zero ass..., not much of any animal in the aroma... ;) Perhaps some hints to some Nobel hops here and there, but nothing overally assertive, it seems to me.
But those very same hops do make more of a statement in the flavor profile. Nicely balancing to the slightly bready/biscuity malt body. Would have preferred a bit more "snap" in the flavor profile -- "crispness", as it were -- but this does a pretty good job all told, IMO.
Quite poundable enough, that's for sure. But one subtle thing about this beer that bugs me -- that only shows up about half-way through the glass, and then even only barely -- is a certian mustiness in the after-taste. Not a deal breaker neccesarily, but does give me reason enough to mark down the mouthfeel a tad.
But overall, I think this is a nice enough after-work refresher. Might even be worthy enough to consider to have a few around in the `fridge, in case your room-mate or significant-other has BMC drinkers over. `Cause I think this might open a few eyes n' palates...

Very pale gold color. Small head. Aroma is malty. A light bodied lager. Malts are wheaty, there is a slight banana and clove thing going on here. Hops are a little citrusy, mild of course, but definitely present. A mild beer, not a lot of flavor, but nothing really objectionable or bad. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.
