Pours out in a hazy amber colour with a rich frothy off-white foam. Fresh spicy hops in the aroma with malty sweet notes of straw, dried oranges and mild herbs. Medium-bodied with notes of straw, white bread, biscuit, nuts, herbs, metal and spicy hops. Medium-bitter finish of grass and mild pepper with bready undertones.

Amber colour, with mediumsized creamy head. Aroma is fruits, malts, and hops. Flavour is quite similar. Surprisingly filling aroma and flavour. Long flowery bitter hops along with some caramellish sweetness. Slight smoked notes in the background in the flavour also. Wellbalanced and pleasant in most ways. My 200th German beer.

the head is weak and holds about ½cm with weak laces, the color is golden and a little cloudy, the aroma is light bitter with soft malts, the feel is fresh and the taste is a sweet accent and a mellow follow through; you can only hint the hops

500 ml bottle, bought in Bier Spezi Hoheluft, Hamburg. Some sediment in the bottle. Hazy golden colour, large and lingering off-white head. Pleasant aroma of aromatic hops, notes of citrus, flowers and honey, hints of oak and leather. Flavour is fairly malty and relatively sweet, well balanced with pleasant hops, some oaky and spicy elements. This is what a golden lager SHOULD taste like!
