Helping us usher in the new golden age for the beer rebel (fittingly enough) is Golden Age. Nothing quenches the thirst of today’s active dissenter better than this citrusy tasting concoction. The mesmerizing march of perfect champagne-like bubbles to the foam front draws you in. Hints of lemon, grape, and apple keep you coming back for more.

    750ml bottle -

Aroma - apple juice, cloves, and yeast

Appearance - hazy golden body, 3-finger white head, above average retention, good lacing

Mouthfeel - prickly, alive, full carbonation, medium bodied

Flavor - sweet, dried apricots, yeasty and medium spice, creeping alcohol

Overall - solid BSA. Reminds me in some ways as Duvel...just a little.

I didn't get much of the brewer's description save for a little bot of fruitiness. Again. no belgian yeast presence. this was more barleywine-like than bsa to me.
