Nice roasted/toasted grain nose, deep dark color, some head and lace, a nice chocolate brown. Sweet start, with a generous middle and a nice somewhat dry finish. Decent porter as with most Ispwich beers, quite drinkable and better than most. Fair to middlin in the hops area, and the body could be a bit more robust.
