Aroma: 9 | Appearance: 9 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 9 | Overall: 9

May 19, 2023
Beerbistro, The (Toronto, Ontario, Canada – 18 King Street East)
500ml bottle
11.5% ABV
Bottled On: April 10, 2022
$10.35
The beer pours a mahogany colour with a weak tan coloured head. Vigourous swirlking results in a longer lasting head that laces well. The aroma is string on the alcohol with notes of dark fruit, molasses, and woody notes. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is sweet with notes of raisins, plums, and molasses but the alcohol is noticeable in the finish. Still, an excellent beer.
