We have lots of influences and aspirations alike. To all the well-intentioned troublemakers and S%$t disturbers, the misfits, artists, computer ninjas, dreamers, beer-geeks, and good people seeking something better for the average person; Independent thinkers and drinkers, welcome to your new brewery. Welcome to the Indie Alehouse Brewing Company. We like to think that better beer will change the world and that given a chance, people will choose independently made quality handcrafted products over mass-produced blandness. Hard as it may be for some of us (we know who we are) we don’t judge others who choose differently, rather we believe they have just not been properly introduced to the merits of craft beer and a better life. Some of our beers (and foods for that matter) are waaaay out there for the average beer drinker. We make those beers because people who like a crazy hoppy-double-IPA, or a ‘breakfast Porter’ have not had much of a choice for a very long time in Toronto. We also make some equally interesting beers and foods that suite a different palate and fit a sunny day as much as a dark and stormy night.
