Brewed to the original strength of the 1700's. Deep Deuce is brewed with wheat which softens this burly brew. The highly kilned malts, gives this beer a rich and intense flavor with subtle notes of chocolate. The yeast, which accentuates the malt and hops, has a soft balanced palate which finishes slighty sweet. The beer pours very dark with a thick creamy tan head.

Gift from Tiffany @ Rockwell. Dark brown, almost black with small light brown foam head. Aroma is candy, liquorish. Taste is sweet liquorish, no bitter. Aftertaste is dry sweet candy. (Velp 201303)

On tap at the Mesta fest! I hate to be a homer, but this is a great beer. It's more of a stout than a porter IMHO. It pours thick and black with a nice foam head. Velvet mouthfeel with some ash and lots of grain in the taste. The finish is sweet and dry if that is even possible. I like my beer like I like my women. Thick, black and sweet!
