Pours with a nice amber color with not much head and what's there leaves quite quickly and leaves zero lace. The aroma consists of carmel butterscotch notes, with a hops at the end. Not too strong here, but more malty than what you would think. The taste consists of sweet carmel malt followed by a nice hop cut with a big mouthfeel that could border on syrupy when it's warm. The mouthfeel is moderately carbinated and medium bodied and quite refreshing. Glad to see this brought back from the dead.

Now contract brewed elsewhere I do believe, inexpensive single from the shop. Easy going, light bodied, very neutral offering. Light copper color, foamy white head and spotty lacing. Faint caramel and toast with some even fainter fruitiness. Malty and a good slammer that was better than I anticipated.

On tap @ Bearden Beer Market - they also have bottle and cans in stock. Nice to see a Hudy locally - historic Cincinnati beer: Light clear amber pour with a tight small white head and sporadic lacing. Lightly sweet caramel malty aroma with just a hint of hops. Taste is a bit thin but satisfactory with a light caramel sweetness, light hops bitter in the end. Refreshing - a good summer beer for certain. Nice to see this beer resurrected.
