I liked the can so I bought it. Didn't expect much as it was Hop City. Quite surprised. This is a well balanced Ipa. West coast to boot. Good combination of hops.Might buy a few more.

Pours a thick frothy white cap and has a pale amber appearance. Thick dirty lacing. Aromas are mostly citrus and floral hops. Flavours are quite hoppy at first but has a bit of a malty quality in the finish. Some notes of sweet and bready malts. Good variety of hop used, mild and some fairly bitter types. Good balance between bitterness and sweetness. Astringent and drying mouthfeel. Very mild warming sensation.

Pours a clear deep amber colour with a big frothy warm cap, great retention and full foamy lace. Great aromas of hops with fresh grass, pine notes and citrus zest. The taste is not as strong, with some mild fruity zest and some very light grain. A little bitterness and some hints of rusty water in the mouth. Nice to see this brewery do a stronger IPA and available in cans. Quite drinkable.

The beer pours a hazed copper colour with a rocky head. The aroma is caramel, citrus, and dishsoap. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour was caramel, grapefruit, and grains. The best Hop City beer yet
