500 ml bottle, from Selfridge’s food store, London. ABV is 4.6%. Brown to copper colour, large off-white head. Aroma of malts, toffee and caramel. The flavour is medium sweet and malty with toffee, caramel and a little fruit. A sharpish hoppy bite in the finish.

From Libations. Poured out a rocky white head above a body of clear copper; appearance was the best thing about this beer. Aroma was faint, maybe some malt? Taste was okay and just okay, thankfully not overly sweet. Finished a little less sweet and mouth was decent. A ho-hum beer.

Bottled. Dark amber colour with medium white head. Aroma of mixed berries and a bit fruity. Taste is sweet fruity at first with bitter tone in the finish. Nice bitterness in aftertaste.

Rich copper colored with a full head. Aroma was surprisingly weak with a very mild malt nose. Mouthfeel was also a bit on the light and watery side. Flavor was very malty with a bit of a sour twinge to it. A yeasty, bready component in the finish. There are much better bitters to be found.

Malty, sweet-ish with nice hoppiness. It's been a while since I tried it on draught, but this bottle was very good.

This beer was amber colored with a moderate head and wispy lacing. It had a fine floral and spicy aroma-inviting. Soft on the tongue, really fresh tasting with a medium sweet maltiness and hoppy background. Finished smooth with just a little hoppy bitterness. Bottle.

Mild head, deep amber color, mild malt nose. Initially slightly sweet, mild malt which quickly turns dryish. Nothing super, but a decent English bitter style ale.
