This is a VERY DRY AND SIMPLE Mead, made by fermenting honey with no fruit and no sulfites and almost no residual sugar. Ours is a lot less sweet than most meads, and should go well with fish and hors d'oeuvres. We have noticed that people who like beer tend to like this wine, and those who LOVE our sweet Blackberry might NOT like this dry Mead. And be warned; Mead generally throws a sediment and gets cloudy. We have not overcome this, but we have found the flavor of our Mead to be unaffected by the sediment.

In appearance like other meads. Light=crystalline orange tinged colored body. Definite clover nose. A light and smooth body. Alcohol bites on the palate. It is defintely more dry (less sweet) than other meads I’ve had. That’s not a bade thing. The taste is as one would expect clover.

Filling and aromatic yet mellow aroma of flower pollen and hints of sugary sweetness and pokes of alcohol. Bright golden and no head (as this is a still mead) crystal clear and inviting. Filling mouthfeel, silky smooth and warming and blanced on the swallow. Flavor, while the alcohol is noticible it is melded very well with the rich (but not intense) floral character. This is mead, pure and simple, and very finely done. Thank you, HoneyRun.
