Pours clear caramel, thin ivory head. Aroma yields honey, toasty, spice notes. Flavor offers honey, toasted, spice & herbal tones. Texture contributes nice body and peppy fizz. Brag-got about it.

yum yum Poured a golden color. Aroma was honey go figure, grapes. Flavor was blended perfectly. honey and white grapes vanilla and the slightest bit of woodyness to it. Expected it to be tick mouthfeel but wasn't at all vey very nice.

Pretty ceramic 750ml bottle from SL. Golden honey colored pour, nice inverted fingers along the edges, no head obviously. The aroma was rich honey, grapes, berries, light ginger. The flavors melded together so wonderfully, light vanilla and oak under all of the aroma qualities. Alcohol was quite warming and surprisingly settled as the bottle warmed a bit (initially served at fridge temps). Hops added along with the ginger? The ginger was hardly there (a good thing for me!) and the hops completely missed. Mouthfeel was oily, yet not thick, syrupey, or honey-like viscous at all. This one worked terrifically late in the evening alongside fresh fruit and pound cake, while watching the Birds open their '07 preseason. These meads are now winning me over, unfortunately at an impact to the wallet.

Pours a still, rich gold. The aroma is full of honey, but the flavor comes across a bit hot. At first I thought this was from the alcohol, which is big, but it may be from the ginger after all. Thick with a lingering spicy burn from the ginger.
