Holgate Temptress Chocolate Porter is a very tempting extreme twist on the classic robust porter, brewed with over 300 kg of malt and infused with a dash of rich Dutch cocoa and whole vanilla beans. Luscious chocolate, coffee, and caramel flavors are balanced by a hint of vanilla and a body of 6% alcohol. A perfect winter warmer or a complement to meat pies and chocolate-based desserts. A definite "unisex" beer with great appeal for both guys and gals.

When a beer says 'unisex' on the bottle, I get a little worried. There is no need to worry about this beer however as it packs a great punch of flavour and aroma. Dark Chocolate brown and thin brown cap make up the appearance. Lots of coffee and chocolate in the aroma with the requisite roasted malt. The flavour was similar with some dark fruit added detected by the taste buds!
