1 000 ml, swing-top bottle, bought at the brewery. Poured in the original HBH designed beer mug an unfiltered and light hazy rich burgundy coloured Kellerbier with a two fingers beige and creamy foamy head that had a very long retention and tons of micro bubbles. Soft carbonation. Good lacing. The aroma is heavy roasted malts, dried fruits, nuts and a faint note of barnyard. The flavour is roasted, molasses, caramel notes. The mouthfeel is sparkling, quite thin, even flat. This light to medium bodied Kellerbier has a dry malty finish. Some disappointement for this pretty looking swing-top bottle and one way Kellerbier from Fulda in Hessen.
