We’ve all broken some law at sometime, and so it has been with some German breweries. Our Kottbusser is a fine example of this. Oats, molasses and local Pontiac honey additions in this beer defy the German Purity Law. “Breaking a law has never tasted so good.”

Slightly unfiltered, golden-amber colour with an off-white frothy head, average retention and some nice foamy patches of lacing. Wax aromas with citrus notes. The taste is much better, with well-blended oranges, caramel malts, honey and mild hop grassiness. Hints of apples lingers. Not a bad ale, with interesting flavours balanced with honey.
