Our Berlin Street Kellerbier is a traditional unfiltered amber lager with a malty sweet flavour and a peppery slight bitter edge. It is our tribute to that once so named street in the west section of Pembroke, the home of a once vibrant ethnic German community that contributed greatly to the early development of the town. Prost!

First of two Kellerbier tonight, pouring a clean amber colour with golden highlights, a warm light-beige cap, good retention and leaving some creamy-foamy lacing. Decent grassiness in the nose over the caramel, slight darker, cereal malt base. The taste shows the hops grassy notes, again, over the milder, darker malts. Gets a touch hazy near the end. Quite a nice brewed beer for the style with the hoppier Zwickelbier.
