February 2014: 330 ml slimline can, as 1906 Año Reserva Especial, produced in Spain for Hijos de Rivera. www.club1906.es . ABV is 6.5%. Ingredients include maize. Golden (nearly deep golden) colour, moderate white head. Fairly decent aroma of grassy hops. The flavour is "dusty", bland and boring, but not offensive.

Pale orange with little foam head. Bit weak color for an amber. Likewise aroma and taste, little bit watered taste. Short lasting or no aftertaste. (Madrid 201405)

Canned (as 1906 Reserva Especial, 6.5% ABV, thanks omhper!). Fancy can, but boy what a letdown this liquid was. Goldeny amber colour, mediumsized slightly off-white head. Aroma is maize, bready malts, mild biscuits as well as some slight metallic notes. Flavour is buttery, bready, mild maizelike sweetness as well as some quite harsh metallic notes as it gets warmer.
