Our Blackberry Wheat Ale was brewed up to welcome the much anticipated spring and hot summer seasons when the days get longer and hotter. A native berry to Ontario, blackberries are juicy and tart and we have some delicious wild blackberries in the north. We were inspired by the sweet and delicious blackberry after many canoe and camping trips into backcountry. So we brewed up a smooth wheat ale to bring out the tartness of the blackberry. And Boom! Blackberry Wheat was born!

The beer pours a red-tinged golden colour with a thin tan coloured head. The aroma was wheat, bubblegum, berries, and perfumey hops. The mouthfeel was slightly creamy and medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour was dominated by the berries with a hint of yeast and grains. The finish was lightly bitter.

Hazy golden-amber colour with a pinkish hue. The head is white, frothy, good stay and leaving some foamy streaks of lacing. Juicy, fruity aromas with berries and some light grassiness from the hops. Some particles floating around. The taste is juicy, fruity again with not too much sweetness, because of the hops. Mild bitterness and dryness in the finish. A refreshing, fruity - not too sweet beer.
