    22oz bottle -

I think I got a bottle that was a little past it's prime, because it was neither a pomegranate or cherry bomb, nor a pom/cherry bomb. Aroma is lightly spicy with a light fruity character that I could not pinpoint as to either cherry or pomegranate. The flavor of this beer was equally as ambiguous as the aroma...some light fruit, a smidge of Belgian-like spice notes and a showing of light tartness that kept it interesting. Not a favorite of mine from Steve. Perhaps fresher it would deserve a higher score.

Sampled on 7/23/2011. This fruit beer pours a reddish pink color from a 22oz bottle. Small to medium sized white foamy head, with good retention and nice lacing. The aroma is fruity and sweet, cheery and pomegranate. A medium bodied fruit beer. The malts are fruity and sweet, with some tart cheery flavors. The hops are slightly floral. Nice carbonation. A slightly tart fruit beer, the tartness is mostly at the finish. The fruit flavors are very natural tasting, not artificial in any way. Hides the alcohol well. Light and refreshing. Very drinkable. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly tart.
