Very dark brown color with lasting colored foam head. Sweet fruity taste and good alcohol contecnt. Nice lating sweet palete, not too sweet like some other bocks (Rotterdam 201111)

300 ml capped bottle. Poured a close to black, with reddish tones, coloured Bock with half a finger tan coloured foamy head that had a short retention. Low carbonation. No lacing. The aroma is toasted malts, fruity, riped raisins, berries, plums and wood. The flavour is roasted malts, caramel, brown sugar, spicy, licorice and strong woody notes. The mouthfeel is crispy, fizzy, quite thick and sticky. This medium bodied Bock has a long sticky malty and sourish wood finish. I don't appreciate the sourish, close to mold, woody tones in a Bock.

Dark brown colour, with small white head. Aroma is caramel and lots of malts. Some slight sweetness in it also. The flavour is also quite the same, with alcohol a bit more present. In my opinion a very pleasant bock.

Nothing special. A nice Dutch beer but leaves something to be desired in the taste. Good enough for a night of drinking, but nothing to brag to your friends about.
