Not nearly as good as I was expecting or had been led to believe. Poured a dark amber with a slight fizzy head that I found rather odd on this type beer. Caramel, chocolate and malt flavor is present only briefly. Not a hateful beer, but wouldn't go out of my way for it.

My first dark lager. I was not inpressed. Poured a dark brown with a little fuzzy head, you know like a miller. Taste is mostly that of a cheap lager. With just a slight taste of chocolate malt. Not that much of a differance to make it much more than your average cheap american brew.

this is THE macrobrew of dark beers. while it's better than their other stuff, i'm not sure why they bothered. priced closer to the macros than an mgd, it's just not worth it.

Cheap dark lager. Aroma is average. Doesn't have to much of an aroma really. Appearance is a beautiful dark brown molasses color. Lacking in mouthfeel. Flavor is bold and finishes very smooth. Good beer overall

Odd beer. It looked good, poured with a very dark amber colour, and came with a nice ivory head; decent lacing with this one. Aroma was difficult to discern; there was an aroma but I could not suss out what it was. Not unpleasant, just 'there'. Taste and mouthfeel were acceptable but not remarkable. Just a so-so beer, but at least drinkable at a proper price.

Nice enough looking beer for one so cheap..its a dark ruby colour when held to the light..small tan head that goes very quickly to be replaced by some good lacing. I actually liked the aroma of this beer very much caramel and roasted malts are very upfront . After a good show by the aroma the taste was a little too thin..yes its pleasant but it isnt very "upfront" yes theres caramel and chocolate flavors. Pretty average on the tongue,,flavour doesn't last as long as i would have liked. Overall its drinkable. Havent seen this for a whle, do not know if Miller has killed it.
