The Gotland, or Viking beer has been extinct for some time... or has it? The ingredients: Smoked, pale, rye, wheat, and sour malts. Juniper, German hops, Blessed Thistle, Bog Myrtle, bread yeast, and birch bark... all aged in whisky wood. We bet you never tasted anything quite like it.

A murky orange appearance with no head. The aroma is very spiced filled complete with some Andies mint, ginger, and tobacco. Like sniffing a box of Newports or something. WTF. The flavor consists of mint, ginger, caramel, cinammon, and mint. Ho Ho Ho Merry freaking Christmas with all this mint and spice. Well I guess Santa has good a wad of snuff in his mouth because I taste tobacco as well. They are right Ive tasted nothing like it! Pass.

Cloudy amber with a small head. Really bizarre aroma. Spruce tips or juniper seem to be the dominant flavoring and there’s a bit of sour funk. A touch minty. Slightly sour flavor. Too much going on here to describe well. Wouldn’t be able to drink a lot of it, but I’m glad i got to try it. Thanks to ungstrup (jens) who helped me pronounce this bad boy and was a pretty cool guy to talk to this weekend.

Poured a hazy, dark golden color with no head or lacing, poured still. Aroma of smoke, citrus fruits, toasted dough, vanilla, bourbon, and light spices. Taste full of oak, with some tartness, citrus fruits, with mint leaf, and some alcohol in the finish.
